Edinburgh

Beautiful Edinburgh town, Scotland's capital.  I couldn't believe there are only 3 million people in the whole of Scotland and, under 400,000 in the capital.  Also voted the best place to live in the UK.  Edinburgh is a must see for families and couples.  Besides the beautiful countryside that is within minutes of the city centre, it has one of the most magnificent cityscapes in the world, the Edinburgh Castle which dominates the popular and busy Princess Street.
